A Flemish-red, brown ale, with lightish-brown head.
Complex aromas of young cherries, sour fruit, smoky and vanilla. Oak barrel, rusty and subtle flavours.
Good carbonation. 20 % of the beer undergoes spontaneous fermentation, which can last for up to 18 months. The wooden barrels that are used in the bright beer tanks, originate from the Bordeaux region. They were only used to conserve wine.
This ensures that most of the tannins are removed from the wood.
