Medium sized creamy beige foamy head on top of a hazy to murky dark brown colored beer. Aromas of roast, hay, some hints of flowers, cacao and liquorice. Quite a dull aroma. Flavours of roast, marzepin, flowers, choxolate, cacoa, bitters, cream, some wood and malt roast, some hay toast/roast and some toasted herbs. Aftertaste is bitter, chocolate, dry, roast, toast, barley malts and some hay. Low carbo, silky mouthfeel, very good medium body and a creamy texture. Nice beer, fubny thing is, I didn’t expect this at allwith such a color.. You see never judge a book (or beer) by it’s cover.
