Brewery Note :
During the brewing process, some of the malt is replaced by ‘peated malt’. This produces an amber beer with an aromatic, spicy taste of hops, enhanced by a mellow fruitiness and a subtle hint of smoke that lingers.
And there's no smoke without fire! This Belgian interpretation of a smoked beer is the ‘spark’ that lights the fuse heading for 2021, when a smoked taste expression of Gouden Carolus Single Malt will be brought out. To be continued!
